Coaching & Consulting
As a consultant or coach, I become a member of your legal team and agree to consult only with you, your legal representative and, by your written authorization, other parties who are explicitly requested.
I am not an attorney and do not provide legal advice, and I do not provide testimony in any future legal proceedings when in this capacity of coach or consultant. The consultation/coaching role is not a forensic or assessment-based process, and my recommendations cannot ethically be offered to the court while wearing this hat. I am, however, mandated to report to the proper governing agency any perceived intent to seriously harm one’s self, someone else, any current/past child or elder abuse, or any current/past domestic violence in the presence of a child.
Services rendered in this capacity include:
- Direct contact in-person, telephone, email, and virtual platform
- Direct contact with you and your legal representative
- Direct contact with any additional party requested by you or your legal counsel
- Preparation of any requested written report
- Review of any requested documentation
Consulting/Coaching Services are ideal for you if you:
- Have been ordered to participate in a child custody evaluation and want help preparing
- Are in the process of an evaluation and need help navigating to completion
- Have completed an evaluation and are headed to trial (work review and trial prep)
- Are trying to avoid an evaluation or court process altogether
- Have unique or complex family dynamics or child development considerations
- Want to present your best self through an evaluation, mediation, or at trial
Your 90-minute consultation will include a comprehensive follow-up email with a recap of our session, child-focused suggestions, and resources specific to your family's needs.
If you are interested in hiring me as a consultant or coach, please have your attorney contact me by email (lbonnevier@childfocused.net) to discuss the scope of my contribution and fees.
